So first we sign JR Smith who is underated and wont come to pricey. He can play with any 2 guard out there and can score in every way.

Then, also in 2011 , we sign Deandre Jordan.

Of course to do this we must encourage the o'neals to retire.

Third, we sign J green long term and let him take the helm this season proving he is all star caliber.

Fourth, in 2012 we let Kg and Ray walk unless they will sign for 1 mill a season like shaq.

Fifth, we encourage Paul Pierce to hang it up so we can use his money on a younger free agent.

Sixth, if all goes well and the big 3 retire we now have money to spend. We throw it all at K love and D Howard and create the new twin towers of terror!!

Our starting 5 would be:

C   Dwight Howard
PF  Kevin Love
SF  Jeff Green
Sg  JR SMith
PG  Rajon Rondo
6th man Deondre Jordan
and maybe ray or kg for 2 million only lol(unlikely)

Jeff Green take the helm?!? Just what has he ever done that was All-Star caliber? The Big Three are staying ... and The Truth is ten times the player JG ever thought of being. Yikes.

I agree it's a gamble. J green is unproven but his first year in oak city he was incredible on the glass as well as passing and scoring. He did it all consistently. This is similar to Pierce. I feel he will be as good as Pierce given the right opportunity. Durant stepped on the scene and he let up...he must mature past that.

Pierce is still not bad at all but he will be over payed after next year bad. We could use that money to become really good right away.

I really think  jg could be the the guy you just described. People need to just wait and see what he can do after a offseason and training camp. But tell Paul to retire for some $$$ would be a terrible ending to a great career

I agree about Paul retiring that way...maybe he would renegotiate his contract to make room for k love and d howard? It would mean an definite title if he would...if that happen imagine!

Ray Kg Pierce and Jordan as a bench for the starting 5 I mentioned! How would be able to stop that!

I agree it won't happen. Danny don't have the guts to do this but if it did we would win maybe 3 or more titles in a row and the big three would be long forgotten.

Love and Howard together would be unstoppable and Rondo makes sense to hold onto since he is slightly underpaid. Jr Smith is better than ray allen by far right now and Green will be as good soon as pierce use to be...

Keeping the old guys and dreaming will hurt us bad...

While I think the idea far fetched I don't see the need to insult the poster.

Hate the idea, say so, but there's no need to go after the poster of the idea.

I did not post this as a likely scenario, just as a it would be perfect scenario. If I was Danny , business is business, ide do it and win 3 or 4 more banners to hang up in fleet center.

This was an amusing read, thanks for the laugh.

After what Danny did this season, God only knows what he'll do.  I'm sure of one thing:  Jeff Green will be heavily featured this season, no matter what.

I think we should let Slow Joe GM the Idaho Stampeders.
