Well, as for the talking..I wish he'd follow KG's path and stop - at least until he's healthy, which should be next year.

KG didn't seem quite as talkative last year - as he was slowly trying to get his legs back.

This year? Oh our KG upset quite a few folks....Charlie V, Noah, Channing Frye, "Player X", you name it. He got his swag back because he was much healthier.

To that effect I wish Perk would be quiet.

I fully expect him to be back next year, though - health willing. There were always a handful of centers that Perk had problems with, but he is certainly better than he is showing, no doubt.

OKC has the real deal. They just won't see him back until next year.

It's a miracle that Kendrick has been able to give them what he has so far.

He must've gotten that drive from being a Celtic.

if perk can start averaging 10 rebounds or more a game and play his defense and block whatever his career average is for okc than he will be a good fit
his rebounding numbers so far in his career hurt if he can't help a team in other ways

Perk and KG have virtually identical rebounding numbers for the Celts since KG joined the team. Perk is and has always been a good rebounder. Not the best, but definitely above average.

KG's best rebounding days were way behind him by the time he joined the C's.  So you're comparing an old KG to a Perk in his prime.  Also Perk is not good or even above average.  He's just average.  You've got the top rebouding small forwards getting 6-8/game and the top guards getting 5-6/game.  Perk doesn't have the athleticism to "steal" rebounds from other players, which is what the good rebounders can do.

Sigh. If you really look at things, Perk isn't really in his prime yet. In any case, he doesn't get a ton of rebounds because he doesn't play a lot of minutes and he played on the team that takes the fewest shots in the league. If you look at his rebound rate, it was above average for centers in the nba in each of the three years before this one.

Not for nothing, but Perk's career rebound rate and his career rebounds per minute are ahead of KG's career rebound rate and career rebounds per minute at the same age.

This is the same KG that was talking non-stop trash in the 09 playoffs when he was sitting on the bench in street clothes?
