Probably not likely.

Receives Eric Gordon, Splitter, Kaman, and Blair

SA trades Parker, Splitter, and Blair

Receives  KG

LA trades Eric Gordon and Kaman

Receives Parker

Hahaha...The Spurs going with a Tim Duncan-Kevin Garnett tandem in 2011? would have been entertaining 10 years ago.

Very Slow Sunday I see!
 :)

They got killed by size.

Hill plays the point as much as Parker in the 4th now.

Gives them one good last chance.

Not worth it for San Antonio.

They'd need to get Gordon or Kaman as well as Garnett. Probably Gordon.

So the Clippers gave up Baron Davis and the first draft pick for Mo Williams, only bench him behind Tony Parker, whom they trade their second best player (Eric Gordon) for? Even though we're talking about the Clippers, this is too bad.

I don't see it.

LA just gets robbed in this deal.  I wouldn't trade EGor for Parker straight up.

I'd do it for the C's though!

That was my thought as well.

But I figure, it's the clippers.  When don't they make mistakes.   ;D

That's is one of the VERY few ideas on celticsblog that is just so crazy it might work.

Well thought out.  Decent chance it would make us better, but I think trading one of the Big 4 is just too much of a risk, and KG is the last of the 4 that I would touch.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I like the trade for the Cs, but I don't see the Clippers trading Eric Gordon.

Either the pot needs to be sweetened for them, or it needs to be a different player (FWIW, it looks like the salaries of Randy Foye or Ryan Gomes work).  If its a different player, then I don't see why Boston does it (trade a starter for a bunch of bench players doesn't help to win now or build for the future).  But if Danny is high enough on Eric Gordon and sees him as the potential SG of the Cs future, then it makes sense, and maybe sending the Clippers 1st back to them would be enough sweetener.

Celtics fan for life.
