Dude measured 6'9 in shoes with 12% body fat at the combine.

There were some articles there that were trying to sell him as 6'8.75 barefoot (6'10 in shoes), and claimed he lost weight and trimmed down to 8% body fat.

I am not particularly excited about this pick. No offensive skills, and he will struggle defensively because of his size. I think we can do better at 25.

Well, the 12% is him losing weight, but I do agree with you.  I'd rather have Jeremy Tyler, yes his body fat % is similar but he's got a little bit more size.
I'd take someone like Jeremy Tyler with our second round pick.

He'll be long gone.  He could even be gone before we pick at 25.  His size and athleticism have teams drooling, especially with it being a weak draft.  He really impressed at the combine as well.
More power to them, then. Given his his less than stellar overseas experience, which has 'Gerald Green' written all over it, I think he'll be a reach in the 1st round. Some mock drafts have him slipping to the middle of the 2nd round.

Gerald Green is the exact opposite of Tyler.  Many drafts had him projected to go 3rd then he fell.  Tyler was projected to be late 2nd round and now he's on his way up.  He is still the kid who was the #1 hs player in his class, ranked higher than Irving, Barnes, Selby etc.  The most recent mocks I've seen all have him late first or gone by pick 5 of the 2nd round.
do it

I'm sure he's still a kid, but the NBA is no kindergarten. I don't think HS recruiting projection is in any form or shape a good indicator of success at the NBA level. But his pro "career" has been riddled with immaturity and failure to perform against physically inferior players. So yes, that screams "Gerald Green" to me.

And I don't think being bounced around the Israeli and Japanese league (note he hasn't played organized ball since the earthquake) has prepared him at all for NBA basketball. He should have gone to college.

So the NBA Combine Athletic Testing Results are in and Jordan Williams was in the worst five ....5 times (Standing Vertical Jump, Max Vert, Lane Agility, Modified Lane Agility, and 3/4 Court Sprint) The only event that he was not in the worst five was in Bench Press. Also w/o shoes he was only 6'7".3/4
