If the Celtics trade Rondo, I do hope they shop around first and actually get value for him.

I wouldn't mind having Gordon on our bench...but not by trading Rondo.

I'd consider this if Detroit also sent Greg Monroe, 3 first rounders, 3 second rounders, a million dollars, Eminem, Ndamaka Sue, Nick Fairly, Calvin Johnson, the Michigan St Spartan, the three major auto makers based there, Lake Michigan in case we run out of fresh water, and whoever the best player on the Red Wings is.

we really should be able to subtract or give negative tommy points for stuff like this---maybe should be a pitino point or an O'B point--!  How about a 'toine point?

I'd like mention,  free Krispy Kreme Donuts at all Celtics home games thrown in the deal would be cool .

But they can keep Kid Rock.  Kiss can make a cameo.

JR Smith would be a better choice though...headcase..but I have a feeling that Doc and the vets on this team might be able to get him to stay focused.

Rondo's value is way overrated on this board. Rondo for Gordon is actually a fair trade. I don't know if I would do it, but it is a fair trade value wise.

I'm sure it seems that way to someone who thinks Delonte is a better pg than Rondo.

He started 27 whole games last year averaging 11 points per game on a cruddy team.

Yeah, it must be a pretty fair trade for people who have a negative opinion on Rondo.

Luckily Danny would never do this...

I didn't say I would make the trade. What I said is that people are overrating what Rondo would net in a return. You say Ben Gordon is not fair value. If Ben Gordon isn't, who is? Give me an example...
