I called this at the dinner table to my kids a while back. I said Stern will take care of the Cavaliers owner after he was shafted by Lebron. Sure enough they get the 1st and 4th picks. I would take Derrick Williams and Kemba Walker

Didn't the Cavs trade for a pick?  ::) What's with the conspiracy talk?

I think with #1 overall, you almost always take the best talent on the board and I think that's Kyrie Irving by a hair.  Derrick Williams is close.  Can he play the 3?  They already have Hickson and Varejao at the 4/5.

That team needs players at every position...  What a mess that franchise is.

I actually think Kemba has the potential to be a very good NBA player.  I can definitely see some value in those 2 picks you suggested.

No, it makes perfect sense.

Instead of the Clippers having the number 1 pick in the draft to add to Blake and Gordon, they have Mo Williams.

Who do you guys see Williams becoming like in the NBA?  I see him becoming something like Beasley/Jamison/Rashard Lewis.  That could be a good or bad thing... Not who I want with the #1 overall pick.  I'd rather see if I could package both of them to Sacramento for Cousins and Sac's #5 pick.  I'm really not thrilled with this draft class... I think Cousins will turn out better than all of them

I agree with u Nick. I told a couple of my co-workers that there is no way that Minnesota will get the #1 pick and that Cleveland would get it. The lottery is so fix!! Look at Ewing with New York, Shaq with Orlando, Oden with T-Blazers and Rose with the Bulls to name a few. The big markets will get help and with James leaving the Cavs, u knew Stern would help Cleveland.

But remember they got rid of B-Diddy in that trade.  Addition by subtraction.  Getting rid of that negative influence on your young players could be immmeasurable haha.

Haha.  Yeah, sounds about right for that franchise.  At least they won't be using this #1 on Olokwandi.

Kyrie Irving with Blake and Eric. Ah Sterling, you fool. Oh wait they got Mo, yeah that still sucks. Will Mo even get drafted in the CBDraft this year?

3 years of Baron Davis is better than Mo Williams anyway though even if you don't look at the fact that they gave up the first pick in the draft.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I don't know if it's fixed or not, but Cleveland having both 1st and 4th pick means something. I don't know, but it means something. I saw Gilbert's face along with I think his child, they looked excited and happy and took pictures with their card and everything.
I do think though that this may help Cleveland a bit with their ugly disastrous divorce from LeBron.
