I like Green, he's going to fit in much better with Rondo as Ainge transforms the team over the next 1-3 seasons.
Guy can fly on the break and like one poster said, it was so nice to see someone not only with Rondo on the break but ahead of him sometimes.
Green needs time - not in the NBA...in our system. Give him this summer, a full training camp and 1/2 of next season, then let's check back in.
I personally would start him and move Pierce to the bench, if he would do it, or to SG, with Ray off the bench.
If he doesn't start, I'd shoot for getting him 35+ minutes a night.
We need more athletes on the floor and I think Green will be a nice 3rd or 4th option from the SF spot on a rebuilt Celtics team moving forward that can win rings.
He's not a superstar but he can be a nice piece of the puzzle and he's Rondo's age.
