even the The Big Shamrock always seemed to make them when it counted.
No he didn't because they always count.

Even beyond that Shaq frequently missed free throws in clutch situations at roughly the same rate as his career percentage.
True but he hit some pretty important ones for the Celtics.

I wish I could find out his percentage on FTs after a lane violation  I swear it was in the 80s/90s.  He literally never missed them.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I love the Allan Houston pick.

I kinda like the Z-Bo pick.

I don't really like the Bruce Bowen pick, but I don't hate it either.

Allow me a moment to let me show you why you should love it:

At this point, no player I'm going to draft would get "regular" minutes, so I figured I might as well take a player different than my other players to give us another type of look off the bench.

Yeah, I guess. At this point in the draft you want guys who are okay playing 8 mins or less, and Bowen is definitely that.

Also, according to some bleacher report slide show I went through he's like the 18th best PF ever.
