Regarding the Marion debate, he was a fantastic defender in his younger days and an amazing rebounder. But if Kevin Durant is a black hole then I don't know what is worse than that but Marion was it. He is and has always been one of the worst ball stopping players around and a too be polite, not the best passer either.

He had chemistry issues when he was younger because of his ego and thinking he should get even more shots than he got.

So I see both sides of that article and from my own recollections of him and those times. Freakish athlete and fantastic basketball player. Great defender but he had his warts as well. As every player does.

Yeah if you're talking about Marion's prime basketball years, he wasn't much of a facilitator. Of course, he did play with the best passer the current era during that time, so I'm not sure he needed it.

In review, I definitely picked the wrong year for Marion. Moved that back a little.

(Redacted)?

Hey don't knock his skills. He's just completely insane.

But no, I was referencing the venerable Steve Nash.

With the 4th pick in today's draft, the Los Angeles Lakers, in an attempt to add another talented defender at the SG spot, select:

Latrell Sprewell!

One of KG's mates back from Minny days...solid shooter from deep..adds even more athleticism for that spot, too.
