I cannot believe it took somebody this long to take Pete Maravich.  He's the guy I would have considered as early as the 3rd, and probably have taken in the 4th.

Very impressive addition for the Bulls, in my opinion.  I'm thinking this league could have an epic rematch of the 1992 Finals, except with Larry and Magic taking center stage.

David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

With the 9th pick of the draft, the Lakers select another proven floor general to keep the team happy:

A proven champion who is still Pass First. And is sitll getting better. He has Two 1st Team Defensive Awards and 1 2nd Team.

KG, Kareem, Big Ben, and Elton are just smiles right now. ;D

Everyday before going home I would remind myself 'OK, this next round remember to pick Pistol Pete' and then I'd forget.

What I love about all four players in my backcourt, which I can honestly say, IMHO, is the best backcourt in this game right now by a wide margin, is that all four guys can play either position. They really are interchangeable because you know you are going to have size, passing, shooting, defense, speed and athleticism on the court at all times.

I was going to choose Maravich last round but had to secure a versatile big which was more important to my team. That Pistol dropped is just icing on the cake.

I'll say this about Pistol Pete - and I'll admit that I only know him from highlights - but statistically, his numbers are remarkably similar to Allen Iverson's.

He was on my list when I took AI and I just thought athletically I would be better off the way I went. I would have been completely happy to have Pistol then (end of round 5) but because I took AI I have just watched Pistol slip far beyond where I thought he would. I was going to take him with this pick, glad to see he has a nice home now, nice pick!

Here's how I see the playoffs, based upon current rosters:

East Seeds:

1.  Chicago Bulls
2.  Miami Heat
3.  Boston Celtics
4.  Philadelphia 76ers
5.  Atlanta Hawks
6.  Indiana Pacers

West Seeds:

1.  Portland Trailblazers
2.  Seattle Supersonics
3.  Denver Nuggets
4.  Memphis Grizzlies
5.  Dallas Mavericks
6.  Los Angeles Lakers

Eastern Playoffs:

3. Boston over 6. Indiana (7 games, due to Russ)
4. Philadelphia over 5. Atlanta (7 games)

1. Chicago over 4. Philadelphia (6 games)
2. Miami over 3. Boston (6 games)

1. Chicago over 2. Miami (7 games, with multiple OTs)

Western Playoffs:

3. Denver over 6. Los Angeles  (6 games)
5. Dallas over 4. Memphis (7 games)

1. Portland over 5. Dallas (5 games)
2. Seattle over 3. Denver (7 games)

1. Portland over 2. Seattle (6 games)

NBA Finals:

1. Portland over 1. Chicago (the most epic series of all-time, in seven games and multiple OT buzzer-beaters).

That's one man's opinion.  I do feel pretty solid about my top-four, though.

I'm sure thats blasphemous to some, but at the PG or SG position he's got a lot of points, on a relatively low fg%, with a low assist total. When they started tracking turnovers he seemed to have an alarmingly high amount per game.

Clearly I'm marketing myself all wrong. Time for a name change.

So Roy - What are your reasons why LA is ranked so low in your opinion?

This may be someone who based on his entire career might not get selected but we're in round 9 and getting specialized and I have another pick real soon so we'll take his 03-04 when he was a member of the 2nd All NBA team and finished 4th in MVP voting with these numbers: 24.2 ppg, 2.1 apg, 6.3rpg, 1.3 spg, 93 ft%, 43% 3pt and a ts% of .624 and he led the league in offensive win share. His career  3pt% is .401! He is 4th all time in 3 pointers made and that's why we're bringing him in as a small forward off the bench.

With pick 9.11 the Celtics select:

Peja "Naruto" Stojakovic

Whoops I wasn't going to share the real reason we were bringing him in…here he is…
