Love Bahku'S picks of Gilmore and KJ. Also like the Webber and DJ picks. My concern with Hal Greer is 6ft2 but that's just me.

Thanks, man ... both highly underrated players in my opinion, and about 45 points and 21 rebounds between the two, (coming off the bench) ... not bad at all. ;)

No problem. I had Lanier but A-Train was next. Was hoping KJ slipped.

That's one heck of a play-making lineup.

Yeah, I love it.

TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

Indiana trades

Sidney Moncrief and Chris Webber

Portland trades

Glen Rice and Shawn Kemp

It was difficult to get rid of Sidney Moncrief, actual NBA player, but I had to pull the trigger on this.

As I mentioned in the other threads I thought Rice and Kemp were both EXCELLENT pick by Redz so I just had to figure out a way to get both of them.

Freakin ridiculous.

I guess I should listen to Denzel and pick a year before he left the Bullets.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

DRAFT ANNOUNCEMENT

Roy has decided to step aside as a panelist and so we are in need of a panelist. If interested PM me and perhaps we can keep your identity anonymous until after the draft.

Team owners need not worry. I currently have 4-5 panelists already in place even with Roy leaving.

My appreciation goes out to Roy for a job well done. Thanks

Tremendously even trade that I think nets Portland a bit better talent but gets Indiana the SF they desperately needed without a tremendous downturn in talent in the front court swap.

Win/win trade as far as I can see.

Shawn Kemp is a guy who might look underwhelming statistically, but man was he a pleasure to watch.  It's a shame those Sonics teams never won a championship.  (Of course, I can say the same thing about the Suns and the Jazz, too, two other great teams that ran into the Jordan buzzsaw).

What?!?!  I'm shocked!

In other news, I'm stepping away from the draft as a panelist.  I gave nick my resignation, and he was gracious enough to accept it.  Don't worry, folks:  this isn't a Jim Tressel situation. ;)

I'll continue evaluating and providing commentary, but I won't be voting at the end of this.  That suits me just fine, because I hate the idea of "judging" people when the difference between these various teams is ultra-small.

WHOSE TWITTER ACCOUNT SHOULD I AMBUSH?!

I literally think everyone did a good job in those last two rounds.

The team that improved itself the most in my mind?  The Hawks.  I've been hard on them previously, but moving Mullin into the starting lineup, and switching Kobe back to SG, makes them a tremendously better team.

I love what lots of teams did, but the Hawks went up a grade in my evaluation.

I can't agree with this. Mitch Richmond not only was a great player, but the type of player whose excellent in this format. Terrific shooter who doesn't need the ball, underrated defender.

Always loved Kemp, too, he made the game exciting when it otherwise might not have been ... that loosey-goosey style and athleticism on the edge of control ... great memories of Shawn.
