I am also a GS Warriors fan. Please no Anthony Randolph. If a non playoff team doesn't play a player with a lot of talent, why should a perennial playoff team want him? The Knicks traded him away, too, after getting him for the David Lee S & T.
I am a big fan of Anthony Randolph and think he has great potential ... but I fully agree that Boston should not pursue him.
A.Randolph is more than a year away from being a consistent positive contributor and simply isn't ready to play on a title contender.
He makes too many mistakes on both sides of the ball. Too inefficient, too many turnovers, weak jumper, horrible shot selection, doesn't play to his strengths often enough. Too many problems.
A team that isn't playing for a title should acquire him and patiently develop him. In a year or two, they'll have something very good on their hands. It'll be worth living through all the mistakes.
However, he's no good to a title contender. Not today. Not next season.
