I'd like a young team please, tired of 4th quarter collapses.

Hard not to agree.  I love Ray, Paul, KG, and I even liked Shaq when he was able to play.  But man, am I sick and tired of watching them lose double digit leads and fall apart late in games because their energy meter is down at Empty.

Younger teams equal better clutch and 4th quarter teams? ooooowwww thats rich

:)       Still lovin' my Celtics and I'm proud as hell of the heart, soul, and grit they showed in this series. Thank you guys for 4 years of great basketball.

It was a great four years. Totally worth watching the C's be terrible or mediocre for 10 years before the '07-'08. My only complaint was that it went WAY too fast. I remember vividly sitting on the couch watching the press conference, and KG throwing out the first pitch at a Red Sox game. Felt like yesterday.

I'd like to thank KG big time if he retires. He should be proud that he got his ring.

Just want to stick by my previous post.

I'm very disappointed with how things have ended the past 3 years; however, there are teams like the Knicks who haven't won a title in nearly 40 years and the Sixers in nearly 30.

So while I'm upset, I'm also very grateful for the excitement over the past 4 years and the title in '08.

And I still think that we come back for one last long shot next year.

The last three seasons I have been proud of this team, that doesn't change today. I will say this about Danny. I always thought playa hater fans around the league chimed in about how Danny was lucky to get KG from a former Celtic and change the C's. They couldn't be more right, not only because of tonight but Danny has failed in 3 seasons to aid these Celtics. Danny's inability to replace Posey, Powe, Eddie, Tony, and Perk in three seasons is evident, but holding on to Glen Davis has hurt you more than you, Doc and Baby supporters will ever have the sense to figure out. I want Kevin Mchale as the C's next GM because Kevin can identify when a player is a black hole or not. I'm sure he knows JR Giddens isn't better than Mario Chalmers. Danny is done as GM, Leo Papile, Kevin Eastman should finally get their chance if not Mchale. I'm proud of the starting four players in Rondo, Ray, Paul and KG. They deserved better for being the winners they have been and for how they elevate this organization with heart.

As a whole, for all these past 4 seasons, I'm very proud of the Celtics.  This core group, including the departed Perkins, guys who played in Boston a few seasons ago, and the guys now, they have helped to re-ignite basketball in Boston.  We got one title out of the last 4 years, and that's all you should ever really ask for..."Just 1"

Could they have won 2 or 3...yes, they were capable of it, but that's a totally different topic.  I'm happy I got to see at least one championship in my lifetime.  Do I want more?  Yes, it would be awesome, but having at least 1 is better than none.

Not teams full of rookies, no, but young teams with a decent amount of experience and good coaching . . . yeah.

I mean, ideally you have a team with a mix of seasoned veterans and younger or in-their-prime superstars.  But yeah, bottom line is, a team that depends on a bunch of guys in their mid 30's to carry the load and close out the game is gonna have a tougher time in the 4th quarter than a young team (e.g. Oklahoma City).

Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.
