I really think that many, many, many on this board just do not have a clue as how to manage personalities, can relate at all to an organized team dynamic, or understand that coaching is not about treating players like a fantasy basketball team where you just plug different players in at random game to game thinking to fix what occurred the game before.
Fact is players play best and respond best when given a certain consistency as to what they can expect from their coach and what they have to do to prepare to play and the minutes and role they will play. If Doc, or any other coach for that matter, used the "let's drastically change the starting lineup and rotation and throw players in that can't handle the situation" philosophy of coaching, they would be coaching in high school and not in the pros.
Seriously, there's some really strange stuff being suggested in this thread and around the blog over the last two days because of that loss.
