the Heat have outplayed us badly in games 1 and 2

In game 2, the score was 80-80, 5 minutes before the end

And at that point, the Celtics ran out of gas and the Heat blew it open.

Sound familiar?

The Celtics know they have to take it one game at a time.  It's really not accurate to say well, this team has to win three in a row to move on.

All they have to do is win one game.  It will be a tough game to win.  But you have to think that we are capable of winning it.

You win the game, the series is 3-2.  Game 6 and Game 7 should not even be thought about at this point.  The Celtics have one mission: win game 5 in Miami.  Whatever would come after that is pointless until after game 5.

If you think about it any other way, then the series is essentially over.

Heat outplayed us in game 2 regardless of it was 80-80.

And i agree. It truly is winning 1 game at a time and if you look at it like winning 3 in a row thats not the logical way to look at it.

These guys know what there in for [boston] and they know they have to win twice in miami. But they defiently arent looking at  it that way.

They are concentrating on winning game 5. Then they'll talk about game 6. Etc etc etc.

One goal right now. And its not banner 18, its game 5.

I'm not going to stay they'll win the series if they win game 5, but its got to be one game at a time.  I know a lot of people are saying oh they played as hard as they could and they still lost game 4.  Yes that's true, but they played hard and dumb basketball.  Game 3 we played hard, but we played smart basketball.  You can play hard all you want, but if you play stupid basketball then youre not going to win.  Miami is a team where we need to pound inside against.  We didn't see enough of that in game 4.
do it

Game Five is the biggest game of the big three's careers. Let's come out and win!

I agree with you up to a point, but I think part of the reason that they couldn't play "smarter" is that KG just didn't have it in him last night to take it inside the way he did Saturday, and Rondo wasn't in any kind of shape to drive inside, create contact, collapse the defense, etc.  Paul did a pretty good job throughout the game of driving inside and getting to the lane, which was nice.  But he's beyond the point where he can carry the team on his back.

Outplayed to lead all the game 20-25 points like Dallas against LAL
