I like the thinking, and in another thread Roy floated Ray Allen (and parts) to the Sixers for Iggy and Hawes. Wishful, but I don't think the Sixers have much use for Ray, though I think Ray is an asset. One way it might shake out is a three way between Bulls, Sixers and Cs, where Ray goes to Chicago, Luol Deng goes to the Sixers, and Iggy goes to the Cs. There's a lot of other pieces that would need to be included to make that framework fit contracts wise, and likely some picks, but I think that essential swap of all three would work well for what each team needs going forward.
If that shook out, I could also see a Rondo-CP3 swap because I think, despite CP3's injury history, his game is going to age better than Rondo's, which is clearly heavily built around his speed. Once Rondo loses a step, what's he going do? And given how frequently he gets hammered, and how many games he's played in the post-season, how long has he got his legs? I wouldn't take it for granted tho that CP3 will want out of New Orleans. Probable, given ownership all the franchise's uncertainty, but not necessarily definite.
