I'm not grieving. To be honest I'm still numb from the way last season ended. I just can't care any more about wins and championships that can be arbitrarily decided by the whims of the officiating crew. It's been easy to detach myself since I've been abroad most of the season and have watched almost all the games after I know the outcomes.

I watch basketball now just to see my favorite Celtics play so I'm happy with each playoff win because it means I get to watch another game. When we lose I just look forward to our next game. Hopefully I get to see more games and there's no lockout ahead.

I'm just p---ed that injuries have once again prevented this team from living up to its true potential.

Rondo doing his arm really meant although we got the win, it was almost a loss. Starting all star point guard playing with one and a half arms just isn't gonna cut it when you're down 2-0.

Part of me is furious that the Heat are hitting so many horrifying shots. Their shot selection at times is just atrocious and they are still hitting this garbage...ie lebrons step back three pointer today after delonte hit the corner three.

I doubt they can shoot like this against other teams and it really sucks that the celtics had to bare the brunt of it in the first 2 games.
Still, we should be at 2-2 right now and let this game slip away when we were in control for 85% of the night.

Home court is so important as these guys get older.

I can't get too upset...They played their fannies off.  Heat have two super stars in their prime.  Celts had a shot at a win, but fell short.

Not a lot of grief, honestly.  I had so much anger at The Trade, it's basically made me resigned to the C's likely getting knocked out in Round 2 for months.  They haven't looked like a Championship team since before the All Star break, so it's hard to get too disappointed that it's not going to happen now.

Disappointed more than anything, that they couldn't have gotten one more title out of this run.  If we could have gotten one this year, it would have taken some of the sting out of the Lakers two titles in the middle.  Disappointed because we had our opportunities in every one of those seasons.

The real grief hasn't started yet. The rebuilding process and losing 60 games per year: that will be grief. This is just sad.

Amen. I've pinched myself many, many times to make sure it wasn't a dream. It wasn't. Or... Maybe it was a dream but it was a beautiful dream, not a nightmare. Too bad they only got one ring, but at least they got one and showed on so many other occasions that they were a force to be reckoned with. Injuries really screwed us up but they won't show up on the stats sheets in the NBA record books in the future.

Like I said, it isn't over until it's over and even if Miami wins G5 (which I don't think they will) we can be proud of our team.

I am extremely grateful for being a witness to this 4 year run. Go Celts and ♥ THANK YOU ♥

Im in 80%denial because when i said i was all in i meant it,10%angry because of so many different things thats gone wrong with this team in one season,and the other 10%looking at whats needed for next season because win or lose we need to make improvements.

  I'm going bold on this one, and not starting the autopsy until the patient dies. Things could obviously be better now, but there's no value in letting any bad feelings that will come if/when they lose spoil the next few days. I don't think that lowering my expectations for the season (some people start doing this with months left in the season) really lessens the blow if they lose. It just spoils your appreciation of the ongoing season.

  p---ed at Wade for his dirty play on Rondo though? Angry on it's impact on our season? That's another story.

I have been at 5 since the playoffs started, because I expected them to lose in 7 to Miami. I am going to be wrong, as they will likely lose in 5.
