I'm not in a stage of grief ... ain't over 'til it's over, and we're still alive. You don't bury something while it's still breathing. Is it really so improbable to win three games in-a-row? I don't believe so ... and until the season is over, I'm remaining hopeful.
They beat us by 9, 11 and 8, (tonight, which we actually almost won, and was much closer that the score indicates), and had to work very hard to do so, in games that we played poorly ... we beat them by 16, handily. If we play our "A" game for three nights, we can still move on.
This isn't "blind" optimism, (I completely understand that the odds are against us), it's "intentional" optimism ... I choose to believe because the alternative is too painful, and the reality is we've still got a chance. I'll keep holding on as long as my team does ... that's the least I can do for all the joy they give to me.
