Why the heck was he yelling in LeBron's ear from the sideline?  Does he really think LeBron is gonna be affected by some chump warming the bench at the end of a game?  Leave the trash talk to the guys actually on the court playing.

All he did was give LeBron more confidence to hit that 3.  Lost us the game.

David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa

He had some things to say about Amare before the first round series and Amare went off in the first game. (thank god he was injured later)....and then he was yapping about how our bench is better than Miami's bench...so far, their bench has played better.

...and how do you gain 15-20 pounds in the middle of the season? He has been a disappointment since Feb.

I don't think I posted this anywhere but Mike and Tommy were discussing Glen's issues in one of the pregame shows. Tommy outlined some of Glen's issues before commenting that the problems stem from Baby having too many hamburgers. Hilarious.

I think Baby knows that he's done in Boston.  Maybe he's known that since the middle of the season.  Maybe seeing Perk get discarded put it in fairly stark terms for him.

In any case, he still looks like the immature kid who they first drafted.  I don't understand how you gain weight while playing basketball every day either.  I don't understand his shot selection, he's trying to play hero ball but he's just not that good.

Put Baby Davis on a bad team, he'd jack thirty shots a night.  Well, he would if he was in shape and could play enough minutes.

He played so well earlier this season.  I'm not sure what happened late in the year; maybe he's still struggling with tendinitis.

Whatever it is, he sucks right now, and is hurting the team.

I believe he has a bad case of Greenitis. Ever since Jeff green came to the Celtics Davis' game has gotten worse. Let's face it, he's not the most mature guy and I would be surprised that in his mind Green was going to take away his minutes. Especially when green started getting minutes at the 4.

They don't call him Big Baby for nothing. Once he gets down, that's it. He's not emotionally mature enough to pull it together and play. I know all players go thought shooting slumps but the good ones figure out other ways to help out the team, but not him. He'd prefer to pout as opposed to setting some good picks, or rebound, or draw charges. All the energy things he was bringing before.

I pesonally won't miss him when he's gone next year.

A guy in his physical prime all of a sudden losing his confidence and becoming a bad player has really hurt this team. I don't know what it is, actually. Weight, lingering injuries, mentally checking out. No clue. I would say that maybe the Heat are gameplanning to stop him, but he was pretty bad against the Knicks, too. Don't remember the last charge he has taken.

Davis isn't killing us...he just isn't lifting us.  Davis has essentially regressed to where he was as a rookie.  He can still rotate, and be in the right place at the right time, and he can still set picks...but he just can't do much else.

That is fine when you need a 9th or 10th man, and that is exactly what they needed in game 3, when he actually played decent. However, last night they needed someone to pick up the slack, as the Big 3 had dead legs, and were giving everything they had defensively, and had little left for the offensive side of the ball.

In a lot of ways, this team was put together based around the idea that Davis could give them something off the bench more than he did.  Unfortunately, with this regression, along with the inability of West and Green to go to that next level, this team just hasn't been what they thought they would be.

I totally agree, but in game 3, we saw what happens when Doc had enough and benched Baby. Results were we all praised Green and Jermaine O'neal for their defense on Lebron. Why then would go away from that? We all know now what Jeff Green is capable of when playing without Baby. I will say this, no team or coach is game planning to stop Baby. As for the weight gained, it be typical of him.

It ain't no greenitis it's a I don't care about the team or a championship hope so I eat what i want and gain weightitis. Hes playing bad because he's fat and slow. I don't care about being sympathetic to him because at first I was but seeing him play or even go on the court just makes my mood sad. He needs to get his weight together because he's not only hurting himself and his value tberther teams, but also he's hurting the this team. If he played at least as well as he did last playoffs or the beginning of the year when he was a 6th man candidate this team probably wouldn't be in a 3-1 hole but probably tied.
If he is though jealous of green getting his minutes then oh well suck it up and prove you earn your minutes back because as if now he doesn't even deserve a second on the court and that's sad remembering at how well he played last year.

BBD has had his minutes cut down due to his ineffectiveness.

It's too bad we are not getting the play from BBD that he was providing us earlier in the season.

We could have really used it this series.

In a way, I feel bad for BBD.  He's obviously struggling very badly, and he's unable to do any better.  I'm not sure if it's injury, fatigue, or lack of focus, but something's going on with him; he's not the same player that he was earlier.

Baby was a very good player for us most of this season.  He's better than he's showing right now.  That said, he deserves his share of criticism, but there's got to be more going on than we know.

I bet they'll tell us after the season or more specifically after he signs on with another team.

I still wonder to this day what would've happened if Leon Powe didn't blow out his knee in the '09 playoffs. The guy was on his way to becoming a really good player, probably here in Boston

Imagine if we'd traded Davis instead of Perkins. He had considerable value around that time, probably not as much as Perk though. Just can't help wondering bout that... :-\
