But did not talk to the media. It is a good sign, I think, that he is taking foul shots. I also like the fact that he said nothing to the media. Keep the Heat guessing until game time.

Assuming that there's a high risk of him re-injuring the elbow, I would consider starting West just to see if we can get away with not playing Rondo tonight. Maybe even start Arroyo just to keep West on his role.

No.

If Rondo is going to play, make him start.

Have him be either the first Celtic announced or the last.

The emotional pull of that can help the Celtics and hurt the Heat.

exactly.
Arroyo? Bahahaha I'd take Rondo with one arm AND one leg ahead of him.
Just think of the roar when he comes out tonight when the lights are dimmed. The effect that something like that is going to have on guys like Baby, West and Green is going to give us a HUGE boost mentally. Rondo running around with one arm is as much motivation as they'll ever need.

All sorts of things going to be running through Lebron and Bosh's heads tonight- KG's voice only one of many things.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Arroyo says Rondo is ready to go: http://www.necn.com/05/09/11/Arroyo-on-Rondo-Hes-ready-to-go/landing_sports.html?blockID=519340&feedID=3352

When reporters entered the team's practice facility Rondo was seen shooting free throws, but did not appear to be sporting any sort of sleeve or brace on the injured elbow. When Rondo returned to the floor on Saturday after suffering the injury, he played almost solely with his right arm, but Arroyo said he was moving his left arm more this morning.

"Yeah, a little bit," Arroyo said of Rondo moving his left arm. "It still bothers him. He's sore. It was a huge injury. But I know he's ready."

Can you guys stand my positivity today? I hope it doesn't backfire on me!

Having him come in off the bench because they needed him would probably provide as big a jolt.

You've had too many Budweisers my friend, this game is do or die if he suits up he's gotta start.
