Kristic Clothesline or Dropkick Murphy?

If Wade pulls one more cheap shot should a goon be sent in?

I think they do.  The NBA is soft and a spoiled brat like Wade thinks he can get away with anything.  A message needs to be sent.

Agreed

Or how about Shaq just pumbles him? That works too.

TP. Retaliate through your game. Hard fouls are fine, but nothing like Andrew Bynum, good God

Totally differant Circumstance.  This would be a retaliation for Wade's Cheap shots.  Odom and Bynum were throwing temper tantrums because they were losing.

True, but I'm still not sure im for intending to hurt someone.  Maybe a good hard foul that knocks him on his backside, but thats all I'd want to see.  Nothing around the head/neck area, dont cut his feet from under him, just knock him down hard.
do it

Exactly No closed fists nothing violent.  Just a good hard foul on one of his throwing himself at the basket routines is all I'm saying.

Baby should do it but it would help his team so he'd probably couldn't do it. Baby just wants to score baskets and flop on defense.

simple solution, Baby stops taking the charges. Set up to take a charge then use him 6'8 310lb OT body to hold his ground and bounce d wade to the ground. Dont hit him bynum style just dont "take" the change. just hold the spot and see what

215lb(wade) + forward motion + 320lb baby = ???? (maybe thinks twice about driving to the hop out of control for the foul)

This is silly.  You play good, hard, physical, clean basketball.  You try to win the games and the series.  That's the only "retribution" there is.

The rest is nonsense.

I'm not even sure that there was malicious intent in Wade's take down of Rondo.  I don't like him right now, but I try to give players the benefit of the doubt on that kind of stuff.  I think Wade was awkwardly entangled with Rondo, and he was going down so he figured he'd take Rajon with him.

I really abhor the stooping to these kinds of levels from fans and players alike.  Talk of sending in designated goons and targeting players for hard fouls or brutal hits and such is too low brow for the game of basketball.

I'm glad we have a coach who doesn't advocate for it.

For those of you who want that kind of blood sport, don't you have a hockey series to watch?

Yes it is silly nonsense, and won't happen, but the thought of Shaq or Baby going out to the jump ball and grabbing a hold of Wade as soon as the puck is dropped ball goes up, and beating him into oblivion would be priceless.  Not a great way for Shaq to end his career, but still...

This team is not the embarrassing team that the Lakers are.

This is the Celtics.

With that said, I am all for good clean really hard fouls.  The ones that makes players go "um, maybe I will settle for this contested jumpshot".  The ones that makes the player hate waking up the next morning.
