Up 3 after 1, we closed out the quarter better than usual. Pierce is litterally unstoppable, looks like KG loaned him "hot tub machine"! What's really great about Pierce's performance is that he drives to the hoop everytime and can't be stopped.

Let's keep it up with the 2nd unit, go to Green!

This one could turn into another Pierce vs. Lebron duel for the ages.  Hopefully, it's not too ref-assisted.

So far it's had to be ref assisted for LeBron to keep up.  It's amusing to see the contrast between Pierce's finesse, footwork oriented style versus LeBron's bullish strength and speed oriented style.  Have to say Pierce's is more impressive when they're both at the top of their games.

Attacking the hoop is what's been missing from Pierce's game for a while.  It's a really encouraging sign that he's attacking the rim early on.  Really opens up the game for the rest of our team. 

Since Rondo can't really attack the rim so much due to his injury, we need other guys to step up.  Last game it was KG working in the post, in this game it's Paul (so far).  Need to keep it up if we want to win.

I know.. how is it a flagrant when he's going after the ball and apparently doesn't even disturb him enough to force a miss?  The ball went in!

The defense needs to pick it up and unfortunately Shaq w/ 2 fouls is playing very tentative.  Better rebounding and interior defense will help this team.

I'd love to see the floor open up a bit for Ray, but attacking the hoop is working too

The help defense has been abysmal.

Also, we need to get Ray some open shots. He got only one so far and it was forced. Without his scoring our offense can't keep up for the entire game.

I'm okay with Shaq being a defensive liability as long as he's creating offense either by scoring or by clearing space for others.  If he's useless on offense, then we have a problem.

They were gifted some free throws and scored on a stupid turnover by West and Rondo so their defense only really gave up about 22-24 points.

defense wasn't awesome to end the quarter but overall it was very good.
