I see a lot of threads tonight for Rondo, KG, and even Doc, (and rightly so), but I think the importance of what Pierce did tonight is being a bit marginalized.
He did an excellent job defending LeBaby and holding him to 15 points, he set the tone for the entire game when he came out attacking in the first quarter, and he was the emotional leader as well, talking to his team-mates and getting the crowd pumped up.
Credit where credit is due, and tonight this was a team effort, and the revitalization of defensive intensity, aggressiveness, Ubuntu, and Celtic Pride.
Whatever happens from this point on, I can not express how proud I am of this team, and how blessed I feel to be a Celtic fan.
I love this team!
