A quick prayer - dear basketball gods, please, please, please let Shaq play and not get injured again

I'm excited. Hopefully Ainge's vision will be complete and the Celtics will take control of the series.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Prom? Skip it!!! Shaq playing for the Celtics, in the playoffs, only happens once. ;)

KG turns into an animal with Shaq on the floor.

KG was looking like '08 KG and the whole league was taking notice. That would be nice to see again. KG says playing with Shaq was like fresh laundry. Unfortunately Shaq sightings have been as uncommon as green squirrels. Really curious to seeing the effects of Shaq on the floor Saturday.

Is this really much different from what we have heard before?  Shaq will play unless he doesn't respond well to practice tomorrow.

Correct. He has done nothing since the last practice when Doc said he was phenomenal part of the practice, but that he could barely walk at the end of the practice.

He's a "GO" for Game 3 presuming the NBA allows him to play from his golf cart, I guess...

Sigh. I'll believe it when I see it. Feels like we have a better chance of suiting up BigFoot as our starting C at this point.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Does it make me a bad guy for not caring how he walks after practices or games?  So long as he plays and he is efficient, I'll fly to Boston, Miami, Chicago and anywhere else the Celtics play and push him around in PP's wheelchair. Just get back on the court baby and make it happen!
We all think we know more than we really do....

I will say this, if Shaq does in fact play (and that is still a big "if" IMO), it could be exactly what this team needs to return their swagger.

yup. swagger has been a big part of the Cs success. I think the swagger took a hit with the Perk trade, but Shaq certainly is able to bring swagger.

I just hope that Paul and Shaq can give a good run on Saturday. I want to see this team as Danny configured it when making that trade.

I also really want to beat the Heat and this seems like our best chance.

I would gladly give up my TPs if he can play 15 mins/game the rest of the playoffs

However many minutes he can give us is great, but I don't want him pushing it to the point where he can't play in Game 4. The guy I'm looking to step up big is KG ... he was playing some of the best ball of his career early in the season - elevating, attacking the basket, posting-up, moving his feet - we need more action and dominance in the paint from Big Ticket.

Yes, Shaq and JO are important pieces, but an aggressive, dominating KG is even more important. We need our Superstars to perform like Superstars, and not just defensively. Kevin has seemed to be more content to facilitate for others recently, but he needs to look to score more himself, and be the monster in the paint that he's capable of being.

Let's hope they all show up Saturday and get the momentum of this series rolling in the other direction. They've already shown that they can "flip the switch" when they set their minds to it, and now is the most vital time for them to do so. They know and we know that they have the talent to do what's needed to beat the Heat, they just need to dig down deep and light the fires of Ubuntu and Celtic Pride.
