altho he mvoes at the same speed as big Z, Z likes to stand on the perimeter on offense, so shaq would nto do so well on defense there. hes more suited for guarding joel anthony or dampier.

This is big.

Not to get ahead of myself, but just think how this can change the series if he contributes. Imagine going back to Miami tied with Shaq and crew confident and smelling fear and tears.

Back to wanting Joe fired.

If I were to caption this, and if the Celticsblog Forum rules allowed for it I would quote a popular Ludacris song. However, the rules strictly prohibit swearing so I will not be captioning this photo today.

BTW: I've completely abandoned logic, and am totally buying into this. If/When he can't go, I'm going to have to destroy something of little financial value .

lol..nothing wrong with abandoning logic in this case...if everything in the NBA was logical, then LA would've won AT LEAST one game at home....

Ainge was probably just concerned that Shaq was going to get hurt on that play...LOL

Yeah, I thought Big Z gave them good minutes against Shaq in the regular season.

Hoping for Spoelstra to use Dampier instead. I don't understand why he would do so (I don't think the downgrade offensively from Big Z to Damp is more than the upgrade defensively) but that seems to be his plan. Good news for Boston.

10 minutes.  That's all the Celtics need (as long as they extend JO's minutes)

Get big on this team.  Miami has not beaten the Celtics when they roll the beef out on them.

whatever combination of Shaq and JO that ends up erasing Davis' minutes is what they need

The team, the crowd, the basketball gods will rally around the sight of Shaq.
Think about how historic a playoff front court line up of KG and Shaq is no matter what their ages are. That's sick. KG wants it. He'll play way better. The fans go insane for Shaq. It's a long shot that is goes well (with the bum calf/achilles/heel) but I am definitely letting my hopes rise up!
