And I mean, concrete suggestions:

1.  I am on record stating that we should put Rondo on Wade more.  West as well.  Basically, as little of ray on wade as possible.
2.  We need to tape Shaq together and throw him out there no mattr what.
3.  I think everyone agrees that BBD's minutes need to be cut and either Green or JO should finish.
4.  I think last game we were too determined to put KG on the block.  We just need to play our game and not force too many things.
5.  PP needs to stay on james for as much of the game as possible.  We should try and mirror there minutes.
6.  Need to get more looks for ray.  Even if he isn't getting the shots, it has got to wear out wade at least to chase him.

The Celtics need :

- The big 3 to play well (at least 15 points each)
- Rondo to be aggressive and get a triple double or near that
- Bench to step up, some good play from Jeff Green would be a huge boost
- JO to discourage driving the lane, swatting people with hard fouls when they get through the defense.
- Doc to take timeouts earlier BEFORE Heat leads balloon to 10-15.
- Big Baby to not enter the game.
- Shaq healthy.

The top 3 are a must imo, the rest would be great.

Ray and Pierce need to be threats.

Post offense via KG or Shaq (fingers crossed)

Under 10 turnovers

Figure out how the heck Jeff Green averaged 16 ppg in OKC and let him do the same thing. I remember a confident player on the Thunder. That guy is not here.

Play small when the offense sputters.

Pick and roll them to death

Knock down Lebron and Wade. No dunks.

Have each other's backs

Win...win

The C's need to use their 2 best weapons in this series:

1. Rondo in attack mode. High energy, even if it means rationing his minutes.

2. Pound the ball towards the basket - KG gets at least 1 post up per quarter. JO should get a couple in the game as well. ...and then more important than post ups, the energy needs to be there. Ball movement, screens, cuts. Then there will be broken play opportunities for the big guys around the basket.

...

Ultimately, the C's need more energy. The home crowd should give a nice boost.

The way they sag off Rondo, their pick and rolls often don't start until about 3-5 feet from the block. Definitely decreases the the chances of the "dangerous" turnover

1.  Play better.  (make some shots, pay attention to defensive rotations, force Wade and LeBron to go right)

2.  Play smarter.  (if Miami is jumping and swatting and every pass and shot, you might want to try this little thing called the "pump fake")

3.  Get the ball in the post with basically every player not named Glen Davis.

Pick and Roll.

We need someone to help KG in setting screens for Paul and Ray...good screens.

No more 4th quarter collapses.

Rest the starters or do what you have to do, but stop blowing the game at the end.

I didn't have time to read your entire post. Basically, you're saying they should vary their offense, right?

Put Sasha on Lebron when Pierce is out, if he has quick feet.  Lebron has his way with Green, it’s hard to watch.

Doc using timeouts better is a fantastic point albeit a little too late. At home, Miami can go on seemingly unstoppable runs with their athleticism. If Doc sees a 4 or 6 nothing run whrer the Heat are getting easy transition buckets, call the TO.

Well see if he adjusts especially when this series (hopefully) goes back to Miami.
