I would love to say the celtics, but the mavs are the easier of the two opponents, and have a history of choking in the playoffs, although the lakers did drop the first 2 at home and our 2 were on the road, so I say it's about even. Don't count either team out yet though, I think both teams are used to being in the postseason and losing game 1 was no big deal to either of them, but now they should have enough pressure to perform.

We do.  Particularly if we can get some minutes from Shaq.

We don't have a role player making incoherent divisive idiotic comments in the press.....And a loose cannon cheapshotting when the game is over.  Lakers are a mess right now.  They have something nobody else does though...The best player in the game.  So I'm not counting them out by a long shot.

Celtics because

1. we're going home, they're going on the road.
2. Artest should be suspended for game 3 and they'll be short a wing defender. artest hasn't been great, but matt barnes is trash.

Right now? Boston.

Games 3 and 4 are critical, though.

why did I answer the celtics?  because we have a weapon left that we haven't used yet.  The one that made the difference in early in the season.  Bring back the shaq!

I think Ainge is personally injecting Shaq with cortisone as we speak.

Man, seeing the Lakers Mavs box score this morning put an extra bounce in my step!

The next best thing to a Celtics victory is a Lakers loss.

Who has a better chance at coming back? Boston. They still have 2 home games left to tie the series. I can't imagine LA taking both games in Dallas.

really, our hope hinges on if shaq can play starting game 3. if he can give us even 80% of what he gave us the beginning of the year for 10-15minutes. that changes the dynamics of this team..as it gives a 5th offensive option on the floor who still commands a double team in the post

No really I think that thinking theyre both out is not that far of a bad guess
But I still think even without shaq they can win one or even two games at home
So I will trust my guys.

And say celtics

After staying up late to watch the Lakers lose I just knew this thread was going to be created. I think, honestly, its about even.

The Celtics are playing a better team than the Lakers but they have yet to play at home whereas the Lakers lost two games at home and now have to win at least two games on the road to beat the Mavs.

Both the Lakers and the Celtics have played some pretty uninspired ball thus far whereas the heat and the Mavs have played fairly well.

I expect the Lakers and the Celtics to win their next two games because I just think home court doesn't matter much in that Mavs/Lakers series whereas in the Celtics/heat series it does.

Once both series become a best of three series then anything can and probably will happen.

Both teams are down 0-2 playing against a contender...their chances of making a comeback are as good as ours.

Tough call...both down 0-2.  The Celtics are at least going home but the Lakers are playing the Mavericks, who is a team that I just don't respect as a contendor and I think they're going to have a very difficult time winning a closeout game against LA regardless of where its played

Which weapon? The Converse Weapon? That's the shoe that let's Magic do what he was born to doooooooo..... the same holds true for Mark Aguirre, when I wear Weapons, I'm on fire....  what can the Weapons do for King, well I can do just about anything... you already know what they did for me (what?), I walked away with the MVP!

I'd say the Lakers, but only because the Mavs have a tendency to choke.
