We're down 0-2, but we haven't played well.

We haven't played close to well.

They have had 2 players play superstar level and 1 bench player play like a star.

We haven't had any superstar performances and none of our single bench players have played like a star.

I feel like if we can just get one of our guys to play like a superstar we can win.

If we can get all of our guys to play just like "starters" with maybe one or two at "star" level.....we can win this series.

To me, it seems like the Heat need two superstar performances to beat us.

So the bright spot is that we aren't playing well, actually not CLOSE to playing well?! ???

I think Ray had a great performance in game 1.

I think more specifically the C's need big games from Rondo and KG in order to win games against Miami. There is still time for this to happen. I fully expect this series to be tied 2-2 at the end of Monday night.

Anyway I agree with your general premise. The Heat are playing at their best. Boston still has room to rise.

My tone was that the difference between the Heat's stars and our stars is very large in these 2 playoff games.

If we could close that gap a bit and have consistent bench play we can win this series.

The bright spot is that we haven't gotten much from all phases of the game, yet we haven't been blown out by 20-50 points.

No one argues that their 2 stars aren't playing better than ours. They are better PLAYERS than ours are! That isn't going to change just by saying "IF" we can close the gap. That won't beat this team. We have as well been down pushing 20 pts each of those games and basically lost by double digits in each. I wouldn't quite call them close by any stretch. Sorry, but not really seeing the "Bright Spot" in any of this. We're down 2-0 to a team that is better than we are and not injured. We have to win 4 out of 5 games to beat them. We can be as optimistic as we want, but that really is wishful thinking at best. TP for the wishful thinking though! I would sure love for you to be right!
