... That we need to come from behind and win a series. We are in a deep 0-2 hole right now vs a really tough Miami team. The games in the regular season meant nothing, did we really think they would click instantly like our Big 3 did? We were foolish for thinking those games meant anything. Game 2 was winnable lastnight, this series could very well be 1-1. I believe we are going to win the next 2 games in Boston... & THEN its a series.

According to espn this morn its been since 2004 that the Celtics ever been in a 0-2 hole in the playoffs...perhaps we have been spoiled a bit by expecting it to be other than that all the time.Good teams are expected to defend their homecourt.I do have a problem in game 2 with the difference in the amount of FT's taken by both teams Big 3's...Celtics 4 Heat 32.

Yeah thats what I keep saying, Miami defended their homecourt... so what, The Celtics cant do the same thing? This series is not over. I have full faith that Boston will win games 3 and 4. Also about the FT differential yeah that is pretty frustrating dude because COUNTLESS times Pierce would drive get MUGGED no call... Heat would go down court barely get touched AND 1!!! It happened countless times with Pierce, Rondo & Baby & its really frustrating.

We put ourselves in a hole before the playoffs began by blowing our EC HCA.  Too many people here just react on the moment and change their minds like the wind.  But looking ahead we already knew it was going to be @MIA @CHI and likely at @WC Champ.  That's a very tough road to the banner 18.

honestly, if any team can do the unthinkable and come back from an 0-2 hole I think the celtics(or the lakers) would be it..

we win saturday and its 2-1, something we were in last year against the Cavs and we went on to win the following 3 games

right now, though, its all mental as teams tend to quit when they are down. if these celtics can find the resolve, be mentally tough and dig in deep with shaq coming, we can make this a series...

It looks worse then it is.  Pierce only played 33 minutes and he is the only one of hte Celtics that can realistically get fouled.  Allen stays on the perimeter bombing the ball and KG was essentially a jump shooter last night as well.  Wade and Lebron drive to the hole virtually every possession and Bosh was getting the ball in the paint a lot.

Foul shots are usually a result of the style of play and the Celtics style of play just isn't conducive to getting them (outside of Pierce and Rondo, who drive to the hole a lot).  This is reflected in the simple fact that Boston only committed 2 more fouls, yet shot 14 less foul shots.  It is all about the style of play.  Miami is aggressive, Boston is not.
