First, I firmly believe that we would have lost the game regardless.  I really do.

But, there is no question in my mind that we are -3 on flagrant calls and no calls in this series.  JO's play on Jones was obviously not a flagrant and it should be rescinded.  Jones hit PP on the head and nothing.  And as other have suggested, I thought wade literally trying to run PP over was a much more obvious flagrant than jones' play.

I know the nba reviews these things so I would imagine that some of these plays will be looked at.  But will they actually have the guts to do the right thing?  Will they change any of these calls?

I am guessing not.  They simply will not want to give the perception that the Celts were robbed in this game.  If all three plays are reviewed and changed after the fact, they would look bad.  But to me, this would make them look even worse.

They probably won't review them. However you can usually expect "compensation calls" after such criticized/questionable calls all going against a single team so maybe we will see more fouls called on the Heat in the next game or flagrant fouls on little contact.

It should be pointed out that even though it may seem that there is no difference in terms of points on the board between a tech on Pierce and flagrant on James (what should have been called) and double techs (what was called), the correct call would have given us possession of the ball after the dust had settled.

I highly doubt anything will be made of the two altercations involving pierce.  On the Miami side, they were both rough fouls, but a case could be made for them being just tough physical play.  They were right on the line and while I believe they could each warrant a flagrant, I could see an argument against that opinion.  Regarding Pierce, Pierce has to be a professional and let his game do the talking for him.  He acted like an immature rookie in both of those instances.  Were his actions that bad?  No.  But he knows what the rules are and he decided to walk that fine line and got whistled for them.  When you have one technical on you already, you maybe say "watch it", put your hands up and walk away.  Even Lebron knows that much.

The real problem I have is the JO foul.  That was absolute garbage and I think that should be reviewed and rescinded.

I think they will upgrade both Jones and Wade's fouls to flagrant and they'll leave JO's as is.

They absolutely have to do this or else you are setting a precedent in this series and the league in general that those are legal fouls, nothing more nothing less and I absolutely don't think that is true and I don't think it would be wise for the NBA not to address these incidents and let everyone know that those type of fouls are not allowed in the game.

If they don't say something this series would turn into a bloodbath

I can't imagine JO's foul won't be downgraded, and there's a chance Jones' will be upgraded, but other than that, not much will happen.

I have to disagree that it was a guaranteed lost even if the bad calls didn't happen. We had every chance to get back in this game, and everytime we did try, the refs blew the whistle for a stupid call at a critical point that just takes out any wind the team had.

We may have lost this game because of poor play overall, but the refs definitely left their handprints all over this game.

If they actually called those flagrants on Wade and Jones and didn't get Pierce the 2nd T., that's 4 fts with possession, when there's 7+mins left and 12pnt lead to chase.

If any of the controversial calls would be rescinded or changed, its more likely they downgrade the Flagrant foul they gave on J.O. and the 2nd T for Pierce. Then MAYBE upgrade Jones or Wade foul to F1.

Players get penalized for the wrong doings but what about the horrendously wrong calls this refs make that affects game results? Penalties should go both ways and should be held accountable as much as the players they're officiating.

No, the NBA has become such a joke it's not even funny.  The refs are going to hand Miami this series on a silver platter.  We just have to overcome it.  What did you people really think would happen after the way they treated us vs. the 6th seed?  THERE IS ABSOLUTELY 0 CHANCE THIS SERIES WILL BE REMOTELY FAIR.
