Green is a disaster and Krstic (I keep calling him "Dimitri") is utterly useless.  He should just get a crew cut and call himself Eric Montross.  Meanwhile TA and Z-Bo (?!?!) are carrying Memphis...

Green played fairly well today.  Perkins was terrible today.  And most importantly, Doc elected to go small the majority of the game, even when JO was available for more minutes.

I am SURE we didn't lose the game cuz of Jeff Green or Kristic.

Perk was pretty bad today, he got absolutely abused by Gasol and ZBO. And that's supposed to be Perk's one skill, defending bigs in the post. And against Miami we don't need that skill --plus we have a comparable defender in JO-- we needed wings.

I agree that Kstic needs a new hairstyle, but frankly that's the only agreement you'll get from me.  First off, TA has nothing to do with the trade and there is virually no one here that wanted DA/Wyc to open the bank account to keep him.  Note that Perk had 2 points/ 6 rebounds/ 0 blocks  in 29 miuntes in the Thunder's Game 1 loss to the Griz.

Green had a terrible first half today, but not a terrible second half.  He isn't a disaster (though cetainly not what I had hoped) and the jury is still out on the trade -- at least in my opinon.

I like that Doc made the adjustment when Miami went to Lebron at the 4 he went with KG/JG at the 5 and 4.

I know Perkins got destroyed by Z-bo. But Miami don't have a low-post threat. Perk would be setting screens freeing up Pierce & Ray, and dishing out the pain.. Danny Ainge tried to fix what wasn't broken. Starting 5 had the best chemistry in all of the NBA.

we did need a wing, just wish it was Gerald Wallace. I am still holding out hope that Green will put up a big game or 2 offensively, but Gerald Wallace would have been amazing off the bench.

Think of the defense a Rondo,PP,Wallace,KG and JO could play. That is a lockdown defensive lineup

If Gerald Wallace was ever on the table I think Danny would have moved heaven and earth.

I am SURE we didn't lose the game cuz of Jeff Green or Kristic.

Infact, Green hit a couple of 3s, and and 1s that kept us in this game.

Forget his first half, the whole team played liek crap

Perk could not have won us this game.  Just because Jeff Green and Krstic couldn't, either, doesn't mean the trade is what lost us this game.

Infact the thunder were making some pretty terrible defensive rotations in the game earlier today which was our biggest problem too, so Perk would not have solved that

How did Jeff Green play fairly well? I just don't get it.

He had one and 1 today and he missed the free throw. He was 3-8 from the floor and had zero rebounds in 19 minutes. He pretty much has not given the Celtics what they expected to get when they traded for him. The way I see it, he is soft and does not fit in with this team. Maybe he will in the future, but I doubt it.

I wasn't overly disappointed with Green's performance today.

He hit a couple three's, also had a nice dunk and the foul (that he missed).

Gave LeBron his shot instead of allowing easy penetration. Understandable because I'm sure he has little experience guarding him.

Krstic had one shot he usually makes go 3/4 down before popping back up. Other than that, he was forgettable. Might as well let Murphy let if fly.

I'd put the blame on Pierce, Rondo, and KG before anyone else.
