I'm not even sure why it gets this much coverage in the US.

What a meaningless waste of time.

"Admit if you have royal wedding fever"...

That would be the equivalent of admitting that I enjoy eating dog crap.

I have had enough root canal myself.   I rather go to a big wedding.

I wonder if I should make a thread out of that.  There were definitely some interesting things in the what have you eaten thread

I'd rather get the root canal if you really need it.  I woulda given my soul and left nut to get out my wisdom teeth when those things were coming in. Was kinda the best feeling on Earth in a "why does it feel so great to have an elephant stand on your foot sorta way"

absolutely not.
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

I love that during one of the worst recessions in world history, these pompous has-beens are going to run up a massive tab on the backs of the British people.  They just cut funding for college kids in Britain, but go ahead and waste millions on a loser who's only accomplishment is being born to Princess Di.

Hilarious.  I wonder how people in the US would react if 150 million of their tax money went to Chloe Kardasian and Lamar Odom's wedding.

Brits are so funny.

Monarchies went out of style in the 1700s.  Do Brits wonder why the Empire fell?

You do realize you're totally screwed during that time slot?  There's a draft every year and it lasts days. There's only one wedding every 20ish years.  You're screwed. Start working on contingent plans now or work on getting major brownie points.

I'd start giving the sig other options.  You can have all your girlfriends here and I'll order and cook all the food you want and give everyone pedicures and foot rubs, but then they all have to wear see through underwear.

It's your only chance!

and THAT is a good 5000th post

and THAT deserves TP #200.
Celtics fan for life.

My feelings as well. I cannot understand why anyone cares about this. So a lot of money was spent on a wedding for a state figure head, big deal.

Truth be told, I didn't care about mu own wedding. My wife told me when to be there and I showed up. I'd have just as soon gone to a justice of the peace and saved the money.
