This made me smile (and get the chills) ;D

"You see them on film and they look like they're old and slow, until you get out there and they've got a 7-foot-1 power forward [Garnett] who is more mobile than you think and a point guard [Rondo] who is an emerging superstar and two guys [Pierce and Allen] who never miss big shots. Then you've got JO [O'Neal], who wants to win so badly, and then you realize, they're hungry."

I think this a great quote. Shows how much people underestimate to greatness that is the 2011 Celtics

Give alot of respect for them too, knowing a former teammate would do talk bad about a former team

I was actually a little surprised that Walker picked all that up during his stay with the Celts.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Bring back Walker this off-season! The dude plays like a man, not a particular intelligent man, but he's aggressive and assertive. This team needs that off the bench...

Walker is a slightly less athletic version of Gerald Green....Maybe a slightly higher basketball IQ.  Slightly

Let me just say this now, Bill Walker will be key in trying to recruit Greg Olden next season. Greg is not only from New York but will see how Bill Walker was put in great shape by Mike D'Antoni. I never understood why fans thought Greg would fit in here with our recent track record. I didn't even mention the Cris Paul draw.

Bill Walker would be a better coach than Mike D'antoni.

Now I think it was Amare who called KG a punk and a coward. Good luck fixing up your back Amare the NightMare!

Unsure whether D'Anphoney's offense made Bill Walker look better, Our bigs poor help defense when he drove in, or is he a talented slasher?

I would resign him for a vet min contract next season.
Can't stop, Rondo!

Especially as D'antoni trade Gally and Chandler to Denver for a thug and horrible company.
Jameer an elite PG?Please, ask that to his garbage highlights.

Slightly? Gerald Green is in Russia because he has zero basketball IQ... Walker is also tougher and more of an irritator.

Not that I'm for bringing back Walker but I don't think this is true at all. Walker is a fierce competitor as well as a aggressive and versatile defender. Doesn't always make the right play but always is hustling. I see more of Tony Allen in him than Gerald.

Except tougher, with a pair, and plays some defense.
