most encouraging is the part about JO.

It sure would be nice if he can stay healthy.

I'm glad you threw the qualifying "if" in there (crossing fingers).   :-\

It is a BIG "if", but we've already gotten more out of him than I though we would.
Yup

I've always liked Bill Walker's game.  I think he could be a solid bench player here.  His offensive foul when he tried to dunk on Krstic really got me mad though.  Had his name been Griffin, James, or Carter its a no call.  Ah I hate superstar treatment in the league.
do it

I don't feel like he fits in our current system. Maybe if it changes as we rebuild, bring him in. Right now though I can't see him being a good fit. Maybe that's just me.

Walker is a fierce competitor as well as a aggressive and versatile defender.

A case can be made that Walker is the worst defender on the Knicks.

How can anyone pick out an individual Knick as being the worst defender? Do they have any good ones?

Renaldo Balkman is probably the Knick's best defender, but he doesn't play.  There's a clear gap in defense between guys like Turiaf and Anthony Carter on the one hand and offense-only players like Roger Mason and Bill Walker

Nice quote and all, but I've been extremely disappointed with Walker.

He seems to have turned into a dirty player. There isn't a better system for him, yet he seems to be a very angry person on the court.

But props to him for a Pro-Celtic quote like that.

I always thought he had a little anger in him when he was a Celtic.  It was one of the things I liked about him. I remember him mixing it up with Lebron James in a (I think it might even have been preseason) game.

I don't care for the tough guy attitude as much now that he's not a Celtic.

In what way is he dirty?  Physical, yes.  Aggressive, yes.  Emotional, at times yes.  But I wouldn't call him dirty.

His attitude is one of the only things I like about him.  Aside from that he's a supreme athlete who is also a horrid defender and an inefficient (though versatile) offensive player.
