 Something that dawned on me at this  moment, after reading more why can't Jeff Green dominante talk.

 Jermaine has played very well, and if you just look at the Box you don't see that.

 Kevin has played well, of course, and he just looks solid in the Box scores.

 Now that we see the games amplified, with everyone playing serious playoff basketball, K.G. growling, Jermaine blocking shots, Rondo running wild, Pierce focused, Ray dead eyed from everywhere, you can see, that it's not easy if your a "role player" to put a long stretch of big plays together with us.

 Imagine being Kristic, or Von Wafer, or Jeff Green for that matter, Even Delonte, who is usually super cool, super confident, is playing a little shy, like when you play with the older kids for the first time, and you really don't want to "screw things up" for your own team.

 Of course not are Big Baby, he still jacks up shots like he's Michael Jeffery Jordan. That's OK cause he's Baby and he plays hard and competes.

 Save for baby everyone on the bench plays timid to a degree.

 And you would to playing with four Hall Of Famers.

I think what you've summed up here is a big part of why it's so difficult to integrate new players into our system -- especially players who were starters on other teams and now have to get used to playing a smaller, bench role.

I don't think that entirely excuses Doc from culpability when it's clear the new additions are really struggling to find themselves after quite a long while (e.g. Jeff Green).

Every team goes through that.

New York is going through it now.

Miami seems to still be after a full season together.

It takes time. Luckily all that's really being asked of Green right now is to sure up the bench and take the load off of Pierce for 10-15 MPG.

Have to agree with the OP here. It is a hard thing to do, coming in as the new gun. Especially after Perk leaving, that was just weird. Also, you've got the most stubborn headed point guard in the history of the league at the helm, which probably doesn't help much either.

That said, I think out of everyone -excluding Baby, who has been trialed by fire already- only 'Lonte seems at home. That guy has got to feel like he "came back home" to Pierce and his Celtics. Seriously, he looks like he's been here for years, playing his role. He's incredibly sure of himself, ball-handling-wise, and his shot selection is impeccable. Really.

Delonte and Baby. Other than that, we've got a bunch of Shelden Williams' here right now, that look like they're playing with his customary paint-brushes for hands.

Oh, and JO and Shaq don't count since they're as close to our big 3 as anyone on an opposing team can get.
