Looking like the Knicks might get booed into halftime here.  That means we're doing our job  :)

Great first half performance from the C's.

Hard to see the Knicks coming back from this one. They look beaten. Dejected. Like they've already accepted that this one all over.

Very happy to see the bench put in some work today.

Loved seeing Delonte West in the post and in isolation against Douglas. He has done that very well since returning from injury. Very few backup guards have been able to handle him. Krstic came in and got some minutes against Turiaf and did good work. BBD's jumper was locked in and played good all-round basketball. Jeff Green had a couple of nice post ups. Nice play from the bench.

Toney Douglas has had a horrid time defensively in this series.

I'd love to see him play under a quality defensive coach. He was a heck of an on-ball defender when he first came into the league. Tough, hard-nosed player.

What happened to him?

He's an on-ball defender and the Knicks have him sagging off the ball.  I think his deficiencies have as much to do with the Knicks game plan as they do his lack of defensive ability.

I think they'd be better off just letting him play to his strengths and hound the ball.

Melo has lost his cool already

He might pull that *punch someone and run back to the other end of the court* play ;D

I remember that.  How courageous.  ::)

El Jeffe t'the hole! And 3 fouls on the Melo-man. This is getting out of hand --in a good kind of way.

We can't let them get it closer than 15.

The Knicks look like they've already accepted the loss at this point.  The only one who looks ticked off about it is Melo, and unfortunately for New York he usually plays worse when he's angry.

Baby hitting midrange shots, Green posting up and Krstic rebounding/hustling?! More of that, please, we've waited for it for 3 games now! 8)
How about 30 games?  This is the best the bench has played in a long time.

Interesting shot there by Rondo... he doesn't respect Toney Douglas's defense at all.

I can't really blame Melo for wanting to fight.  If I was down 3-0 and getting my butt handed to me in the fourth game, and there wasn't a thing I could really do to stop it, I'd probably be angry too.

Melo is a sucker puncher, with the best example being the Denver-NY brawl in 2006.

I remember that.  I just don't fault his emotion, that's all.

True that.  Emotion that night was good, execution was p--- poor.

Excellent 1st half...replicate the effort in the second half...then kick back and relax until the next round. 8)
