You know it's bad when you're happy Shaq is out and you're hoping he doesn't see the court until the last few games.

The way JO is playing I'd actually prefer his defense in the Miami series (I don't think we really need a low post presence to beat them and if we do then just KG go to work on Bosh).  Rather save Shaq for some hard fouls against Rose and Kobe than LeBron.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

if all Shaq has left in him is 5 good minutes of basketball, I would save him for the heat series and have him go out with a hard foul on lebron that we'll never forget, but that's just me

Come on man, shaq can go out there for 20 minutes and be productive as hell!!! even in his five minutes vs detroit he was playing excellent.

Big shock here, (that's sarcasm) ... as long as the Celtics are winning and out of "trouble", Shaq will be resting. They're not going to use him until they absolutely have to, or until, (God forbid), J.O. gets injured, (which will not happen - knocks on wood).

Pointless playing Shaq in this series with a 3-0 lead and Amare doubtful for Game 4. Just make sure he's ready for Miami

Shaq needs to lose about 10 to 15 pounds before he can come back and not be a health risk to himself. The Big Fatty seriously should follo JO's lead

Realizing the uncertainty of "WHEN" Shaq plays annoys most of us to a point and gets old .....but

It must be driving the opposing team coachs crazy, guessing and adjusting their game plans in case Shaq walks on the court.

The Shaq thing plays with their heads and screws with them as well.  Shaq just being in the game changes the whole offensive sets for most teams I'd say.
