Aren't you the anti-Celtic that got ahead of yourself last year and counted out the Celtics before the end of the season, including a sig in which you had 4 or 5 non-celtics begging them to take the crown from the Lakers (which disappeared once we beat the Cavs or the Magic)?
First and foremost, I am not nor have I ever been anti-Celtic. I would not dedicate as much time to the team and this blog if that were the case. I seriously resent the implication that I am. Just because I don't share the same green-tinted view of the present and future as some other posters doesn't mean that I don't love this team as much as anybody else.
I had every reason to believe the Celtics didn't have what it took to get past the second round last year. Indeed, if it weren't for LeBron getting an injury / playing far worse than he had in the regular season, the Celtics still might not have had enough last year.
This year, I still don't think we've seen enough to think the Celtics can definitely get past the Heat.
Plus, ultimately I wasn't wrong last year. The Celtics didn't have enough to get past the Lakers. They don't this year, either, not unless Shaq comes back and plays like he shed 5 years and 30 pounds. Not having HCA is a killer.
Anyway, looking past the Heat to the Bulls is foolish, whether you're pessimistic or optimistic. The Heat have looked far more formidable than the Bulls have recently.
