He should be playing. He's the spark we need. Play him behind Ray Allen, as West has sucked.  I'd also like to see Kristic play a little more.  I think he can handle New York.

Completely agree. I want to see Wafer. Someone like him that can speed up the game and attack the basket is a very good asset to have against this Knicks team.

Him and Rondo at the 1 and 2 would be a very good lineup in a series like this

I disagree that West has sucked - but I wouldn't mind seeing West/Wafer when Rondo and Ray are both out

I disagree as well that West has sucked.  I think Delonte although not scoring much right now, is bringing stability to the 2nd unit.  I think as the playoffs continue he will find his groove a bit more and start putting up some bigger numbers.  He already is a defensive pest / force and brings good energy...

However, I also want to see some minutes from Von in this series.  We need to add some scoring punch to the bench minutes.  The lack of bench scoring and rebounding is why these games have been close.  Get VW 5-10 min and get him integrated into a role, any role.  He has improved his D as the year went along and at least has more experience in our D system than some of the other newbies.

The perfect time to do it against the Knicks who don't play great help D.  We need to give these bench players time to warm up in the playoffs otherwise they aren't going to be effective at all when the opponents get even tougher.  We need to find more minutes for VW, Nenad, and Green in this series to know if they deserve more minutes later in the playoffs.  We know what BBD can do, and what he can't.  Plus he is more effective with less minutes as well.  I don't understand using an 8 man rotation against the Knicks.

Well, it is a tantalizing prospect to have Rondo, Wafer, and Green out there on the floor together.  They all seem to really excel at pushing the pace and getting down the floor more than most of the other guys on the team.  I think we lose a lot defensively though.

Have to agree with letting him play. He could be the scoring punch for the bench, and to be honest rather have him take the shots that BBD is chucking outside. Stop with the BBD/Green front court. Doc needs to rely on the bench more for this team to go far even just for the first half of games in this series.

I'm all for him getting some playing time, also. However, something tell me his..incident in the last Wizards game has a big part to do with why he's not getting court time. (we saw how hard Doc is on him in the last episode of "The Association", plus the mention of Doc not liking players who don't take things that seriously in the same clip)

Doc is gonna have to give up on the "four bench players with Ray/Pierce" lineup.

That may work with volume scorers like Melo and LeBron, but for most teams (even the Fakers struggle with just Kobe and no Bynum/Gasoft), you need two starters at all times.

Something like Rondo/West/Pierce/Green/BBD(or Krstic) and West/Ray/Green/KG/Krstic(or BBD).

I'd also like to see Troy Murphy get some of BBD's minutes.  Maybe like 5-10 min a game.

Agreed..I'm also on the wafer bandwagon. The guy is quick an athletic and hungry. The knicks bench is killing us because they seem to be more comfortable and not tenative. if youre scared you shouldnt be on the court. If this bench continues to go awol, this is going to be a long series.

I'd love to see Wafer play when docs leaves in 1 starter and 4 bench players.  Last night when the second unit came in with Ray the game really changed and we lost our momentum. Wafer is a highly active energy that can help keep that up especially after you take out Rondo who was pushing and pushing the first 8+ minutes of the game.

Yes Doc should play Wafer.

A game that Wafer doesn't play we miss out on at least a 3 point made basket, a couple lay-ups and a cut towards the rim and dish play. While Ray takes a 5min blow, Von could energize the second unit.

So Doc, loosen up, play Wafer? pretty please!

I agree.  Our offense has stagnant with Krstic, Baby, Green, West, and Ray/PP.  I'd love to see Wafer in there instead of Baby or Green.  I really think it should be Paul with that lineup too.  I find Ray most effective when out there with Rondo.
