Greg Anthony not a good fit in the studio with Ernie, Charles, and Kenny. He's being way too serious and seems to get offended when he's trying to get his point out there.

He'll no one would be a good fit. It's just Charles, Kenny and EJ trying to interrupt each other.

The TNT halftime report is like watching a non-feminist basketball version of the view.
Ernay (Ernie), lemme tell ya some...

Barkley and that what is it a southern accent?!?cracks me up rofl

Barkley will get a 10 second slot without interruption to say something like "KOBE DON'T NEED NO MRI", then one of the other dudes will try and say something and you hear Barkley yelling what he just said over them another five times. Then the jet makes a Barkley is fat joke and starts laughing so it's just a wall of crazy interrupting noise and then it cuts to a commercial break.

You're left wondering where your 2 minutes went.

Everytime I see Pau Gasol get pumped up on a foul for a jumpshot like he just dunked on someone, I want to punch him in his soft spaniard face. :) Way more respect for Marc Gasol though. He is living proof that not all spaniards are soft.

I'm sorry but is Pau proof that most Spaniards are? Also, with Pau being the real MVP of last year's Finals, your statement is somewhat silly.

Nowhere in my statement did I say that Pau sucked? I just said that he is soft, just like everyone else does. Most european players aren't "tough"... Marc is gritty in the post, he goes up against other bigs and doesn't back down. If you push Pau around for too long, well you know the rest.

Hey, man, I didn't say you said he sucked. But the soft schtick is kind of outdated by now. Anyways, no hard feelings, it's just gotten to be a bit tiresome. Like, when someone says "All Americans are arrogant fat ignorants", you know?

Yeah I get you, but I love Americans, being Guatemalan and all. I just don't like how he does it EVERY game. Oh well. Onto to the next one.
TP's for solving your misunderstanding in a classy way. That one had potential of going way outta line :p

(yeh sorry, that's the suspicious moderator in me coming out again lol)

I didn't watch any of the games last night but it looks like Boozer had another quiet game. Only 16 minutes to foul trouble, only 2 points on 1-5 shooting. He did pull down 5 boards which is pretty impressive in 16 minutes.

Chicago has got to be pretty nervous about Booz right now. They are going to need a lot more out of him in the second round especially if they get Orlando.

I think Chicago are the favoured team heading into that series but mainly because Boozer has such an advantage over Brandon Bass ... he is going to have to put it together or Chicago could be heading home early.

Boozer was poor. Looked slow, uncoordinated, and completely out of rhythm. Taj Gibson did more in his place, and having taj Gibson outplay you is a scary prospect.

Apparently Boozer has turf toe, according to ESPN

You know what, I've never seen a more thorough analysis of them before this.  Way to go.

Nice piece on ESPN Outside the Lines today. Ric Bucher and Chris Broussard were talking about the Spurs game tonight and their future. It was framed in the reality that this may be the Spurs last stand.

Even being down 3-1, it is hard to count them out. I can't recall them EVER being in a 3-1 hole since Duncan joined them, but if any team can fight their way through this, it's San Antonio.

Win tonight, at home....go back into MEM and take one...go back to San Antonio and win the thing at home. It's not impossible.

IMO - this is a must-win game for MEM tonight...don't keep the Spurs around any longer than you have to. They are still very dangerous.

I admittedly have mixed feelings about the Spurs advancing, because I really believe that MEM and OKC or DAL would pose the biggest threat to LA...toss in Powe and TA being in MEM and that is a factor for me wanting the Griz to advance, too.

It's just hard to believe that this could be the Spurs season here in a few hours - but somehow I doubt it.

Philly looking sharp early.  Maybe they're sick of all the Celtics-Heat previews too.

Anyone watching the halftime report. Kenny's doing some slightly Celtics favored analysis. He's criticizing the Heat for never being in the paint and saying that they'll never get past the Cs like that. Someone has a modicum of respect!

I sincerely hope this trend continues. Upsets are awesome, and lowly teams fighting off higher seeding teams for a bit is a great thing too.

Iggy is so overrated and overpaid. I've never seen him put the team on his back and he's being paid to do it.
