Thank goodness for Jason Terry, man.  He's the only guy keeping the Mavs in the game.
There's a reason Dirk called Terry their closer and not himself.

Dirk ain't closing this series they gotta ride the Jet.

I hope Terry carries them home Cedric Maxwell like.

hope so too. As long as Mavericks win

  • Thank you Eddie!
Has anybody seen Dirk?  I'm going to go file a missing person's report at halftime because I think Pat Riley kidnapped him.

wow, Dirk looking bad tonight.  don't know what it is . . . he's taking many of the same shots he's been making all post-season and yet they just aren't going in.  Good thing Jason Terry is absolutely killing it.

ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME AGAIN?  TAKE THE WHISTLES AWAY FROM THOSE MIAMI FANS.
I promise you if the refs have something to do with the Mavs losing this series, I will be angry.
Can't the NBA get it NO ONE BESIDES MIAMI HEAT FANS WANT THEM TO WIN. It will not help the NBA one bit and can in fact hurt the NBA. People are already saying they will be done if they win, Stern and them can't seem to get it my goodness.
I've been drinking every time the refs screw up a call, and I can't even stand at the half. (just kidding but COME ON)
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Thanks for the insightful commentary Magic. Yea, Lebron, with all his athleticism, in his prime, in the biggest game of his life, really, really needs the coach to rest him plenty before the 4th quarter so that he doesn't disappear again. Yea, that must be it.

Rick Carlisle is good at making adjustments.  He'll do something to get Dirk going, and his shots will start falling.

Dirk will break out of it.  Shooters just need to keep shooting it.
Wait wasn't he bad against OKC in game 3 and by the end he showed up and helped win the game.

I think Dirk just needs to stop taking those tough fall away shots.  The Mavs need to do something to get him some looks inside.  Get Dirk to the free throw line and he'll get into rhythm.

I wonder do they realize that it's the mental aspect as of why he's not playing well in the fourth quarter. I mean I understand he maybe tired, but I just feel it's more mental with him then physical.
Everyone besides his bandwagon fans have realized that last year wasn't because of his teammates per se, but because he doesn't have the killer instinct for the big lights to win.
LeBron is talented, but when it's time to be clutch when it's really important, he can't show up.

I agree, and I think that's the biggest reason why he went to miami, so that Wade can take the pressure off him

Like the first half, LeBron opening up killing the Mavs. Now it's a question of him keeping it up. I don't think he will. He looks tense.
