Wow, what a start from Dallas. 20 point lead early in the second.

Oklahoma are well able to make a major run though. Good defense + terrific rebounding + explosive scoring (Durant, Westbrook, Harden). They are still a threat to come back.

Dallas has to keep this up.

Perkins is a shell of his former self - no defense whatsoever inside.

Kinda looks like he was a creation of Thibs' system.

Perk has been getting worse physically as the playoffs goes on.

Hopefully, he'll be able to come back strong next season.

The bad news is Thunder down big. The good news is a lot of time remaining & Mavs has a history off coughing up big leads.

OKC shouldn't advance to the Finals...they don't deserve it, imo....they improved this year and should be proud of their performance and the improvement from last year but Dallas is a much better team.

A consistent Westbrook and a healthy Perkins will benefit them immensely next season.

The funny thing with this game is that OKC is now one good Durant quarter from getting back into this.

Nick Collison is invaluable. 16point lead (8baskets) 24minutes (2 quarters) doable.

Durant is 2-10...he'll have to do much better for OKC to erase that deficit and take the lead.

He has been solid throughout these playoffs...played well against Memphis too.

He won't miss 8 of his next 10 shots.

Book it.

Unfortunately he is gonna have to make about 7 of them to get them back into the game with a little help from his friends Westbrook and Harden.
