Come on Dallas, they can't have Dirk playing out of his mind and just lose like that. I like OKC, but come on Dallas.

Westbrook has struggled badly..and Dirk has been on fire....OKC can't win like that. No way.

Go Mavs!

Looking at the box score here it seems like it would be hard to argue Perk did not hurt OKC this game. I am not a huge plus minus guy, except when it really stands out. His is at -18 and he contributed 5 points and 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. The next worst starter for okc was -6 for westbrook. Conversely Durant, Ibaka and Thabo are around even. For whatever reason they got killed when he was on the floor. Anyone watching the game have thoughts?

79 free throws later, the "game" is finally over.

Maybe these two teams will actually get to play some basketball in Game 2

What performances by Dirk and Durant...

That was a great game to watch.  I couldn't believe OKC stayed in the game.  At one point I was like "whoa, how is OKC only down 5?"

Didn't Pierce hold that record with 21? Dang, Dirk.

Wow, just wow.

That was an incredible performance from Dirk Nowitzki. 48 points in 41 minutes. 12-15 from the field and nailed all 22 free throws.

Dirk destroyed everyone that Oklahoma put on him - Ibaka, Collison, Durant, Perk, Sefolosha, Harden - killed every one of them. Amazing.
