This is ridiculous. One thing money shouldn't buy is passion, that is the basement to be a fan.
I'll never get this about american pro sport, I'll never understand how a team belonging to a particular place move to another, change name and fans, just for little more money, or market, or whatever.
It's like considering people "pro" fan: one day you cheer Sacramento Kings, and all of sudden it's over and somebody else who never watched a NBA game become the greatest Whatever Kings "fan" from one day to another.
This is brutal, and superficial above all.
I'm italian, and despite so many problems we have right now, there's a thing I like about it: soccer teams are an extension of the cities and the places they belong to! The sport side becomes history, culture, tradition.. It's irreplaceable, and you can't move it, because it would be meaningless.
