Where was the player we saw tonight the whole season? But then again even players like Pavlovich had a great game against the New York bench.

Regardless though, I can understand why Doc and Ainge have insisted on keeping him. I LOVED him tonight, great energy.

He should be good soon, maybe the Celtics future is brighter than we think.  ;) (Or maybe I'm being foolishly optimistic)

It's consistency that makes greatness. If one game were the case, Rondo would be MVP... but hopefully tonight showed what Bradley could eventually become. He has bought into everything the team has wanted and I'm happy for the kid.

He can't go left. His handling overall needs work. Not up to par for a Guard in the NBA. But I like everything else he brings from his tenacious D to his much improved jumper. Celtics can mold him into Jason Terry type of player instant offense off the bench.

The Knicks are a bad team defensively to begin with and a game with no implications is going to bring out an even worse defense. However, really good to see the kid making jumpers and finally looking somewhat comfortable.

Will probably be a great boost to him in the offseason to cement in his brain that he belongs in this league. If he improves that handle, he can be very dangerous.

Yeah, he had good energy tonight. He was more aggressive tonight than I've seen him be all season. But this was a game with ZERO pressure so he could just go out and play his game.

On the downside, he's shown no improvement as far as his ball-handling skills go. He's going to have to get better there to warrant more valuable playing time next season. I think his future is bright though. He can bulk up and be a great defender/solid offensive player one day.

I knew this topic would come up.  I will be blunt.  What I saw in Avery tonight is a guy that isn't long for this league.  If he wasn't a first round pick, he'd already be cut.

His problem: he isn't a PG (and likely never will be) and he isn't a SG.  He tries but unfortunately, he isn't an NBA player.

I was actually really really happy with pashovic or whatever the spelling is.  Sasha is an nba defender but hasn't shown offense in a few years.  He looked like he can help us more than the occassional defending a certain guy for 5 minutes.
Back to Bradley, to me unless he works a huge amount in off season WITH COACHES his best bet is a combo guard off the bench ala delonte west.  Someone had put this idea earlier on and it might be true that pruitt looked better.  Bradley has amazing foot speed for defense and could turn into a good sub but it looks to be another 2-3 years away.  A very good case of a young man who should have stayed in college and worked on all aspects of his game.
He somewhat looks like his brain can't keep up with his speed  :-\

You could be right, but I think it's too early to jump to that conclusion. We'll have to see.

I think you are both being overly critical.  That team the Knicks put on the floor would crush even a D-League all star team.  If you want to call it equivalent to a NBA preseason game, I'll buy that but there was NBA talent on the floor at every position.  Bradley played well against NBA talent for the first time. 

I am not trying to make this into more than it is but he did show us something in that game (albeit for the first time).  No doubt he came out too early but he showed enough to get a "call back" for next year.  I don't see how you could close the book on him, there are just too many examples; for every Gerald Green and Greg Pruitt who don't figure it out, there is a Billups or even Steve Nash who actually do figure it out.
