He thinks the only Celtic deserving of mention among all his awards, copious runners-up and first through third All-NBA teams is Big Ol' Baby as a 6th man runner-up.

Because KG is the biggest difference maker on defense in the league. He makes the Celtics go from good to elite defense when he is in the game. Dwight Howard is the Magic defense, but they are not elite, just very good, with him on the floor.

What was Aldridge thinking when he wrote this?

I think DA has good insight in the NBA, but as for this article - I think the most interesting thing about it is this Bismarck Biyambo fellow.
