  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He gets a vote on all these so it's interesting to see what a voter is thinking.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

He thinks the only Celtic deserving of mention among all his awards, copious runners-up and first through third All-NBA teams is Big Ol' Baby as a 6th man runner-up.

That says something.

Because KG is the biggest difference maker on defense in the league. He makes the Celtics go from good to elite defense when he is in the game. Dwight Howard is the Magic defense, but they are not elite, just very good, with him on the floor.

Yeah, that is weird.

At least there is an enormous paragraph on Jeff Green...

What was Aldridge thinking when he wrote this?

Quote
Celtics GM Danny Ainge pulled the trigger on the biggest deal of his executive career in Boston when he moved Perkins and Robinson at the deadline . . .

Um, what?  Aldridge couldn't think of any bigger deals that Danny might have been involved in?  Nothing involving a certain 7'1", crazy PF?

It may be the biggest gamble, but it's certainly not the biggest.

I think DA has good insight in the NBA, but as for this article - I think the most interesting thing about it is this Bismarck Biyambo fellow.
