Rondo is a very talented point guard, but the only way his game works is if he has scorers around him. I don't think Rondo was the #1 issue yesterday though for as poor as he played. Rondo is most effective in the transition, we get easy buckets by Rondo beating guys up the floor and then finding Pierce, Ray or whoever else is running with him. For that to happen though we need to rebound, if you don't rebound you can't have a transition game. -16 in rebounding is absolutely going to keep us from getting into a good flow. KG was great offensively, but 4 rebounds? That's a joke. Jermaine O'Neal played 14 minutes and couldn't grab a board on accident? Ridiculous. This team is going to have to find ways to rebound and begin to push the tempo. Right now, we're playing to the strengths of the wrong players. This team without Shaq is an average half court team, if we have guys that can get the ball up and down the floor though. Rondo, Ray, Pierce, Green, Krstic, Delonte, Wafer, even KG to some extent all run the floor extremely well. I'm not saying I want Mike D'Antoni, but pushing the ball might give this team some more desire to play again.
