Now i'm no coach but I think some of these games could have been winnable (or at least closer) with some better rotations/subs. My two prime examples are:
- VS Atlanta- down the stretch Doc goes with the Big 4 + Big baby...Why go with baby against an athletic team? going with green to match up athletically would have given us a chance to win IMO.
- VS Chicago- down the stretch (this one was not as close as the atl game) he went with the Big 4 + green...why not go Baby on that one, green got bodied by boozer, Baby could have at least given him more trouble.

Now i love Doc, but i feel that he could have made some better coaching decisions down the stretch of some games. you can all disagree with me, i'll respect your opinion, but I hope these kinds of things don't happen in the playoffs

WOW! Havent posted since last season! I forgot my log in password, but today I was just trying random stuff and I got it!! I still have been checking the site EVERY morning but onto my thoughts.

Im totally dissapointed, this game turned laughable, we had Glen Davis and Delonte fight for a rebound which ended up an offensive board for Miami, we had Krstic and Green fight for a rebound which ended up 2nd chance points for Miami off a GREAT pass by LeBron to Joel Anthony to end the quarter. This team looks lost defensively. We got combinations of Joel Anthony and Juwan Howard succeeding against our front line, its unbelievable whats going on right now. I do believe though Shaquille is going to come back and help BIG time, like some have stated it allows Krstic to become the 3rd C, BBD's minutes to be reduced (thank god, or who knows... doc loves him some Baby) Having Shaquille O'Neal is going to help EVERYONE of the starters, Ray will get more open looks especially because of Shaqs screening. Remember what KG said "having Shaq is like paradise" I havent given up yet, I know this team is going to step up and especially Rondo, he is a different player when the real season starts & we all know it.

LETS GO CELTICS

I'm disgusted with the team right now. I can stand a loss if I think the team did it's best and the other team was just better that day. But the way this teams been after the All Star game has just killed me.

I see no way we win it all this year. So this year is a failure.
Peace through Tyranny

This could be a very rough springtime for Boston sports fans...

The Sox continuing to suck, the Bruins getting knocked out by Montreal, and the Celtics losing in the first or second round after championship dreams a few months ago...

all real possibilities

We had a good decade, Boston is ripe for some suffering.

Wasn't going 18-1 enough?!

Not at all...not in terms of a full decade...3 superbowls, 2 world series, 1 nba championship.

And then when you really break it down you have the red sox making it to the ALCS twice and losing in the first round a handful of times. T

The celtics made it to the eastern conference finals in the earlier part of the decade, have made it to the playoffs also a handful of times, and then oh yeah...were 4 minutes away from another title just last year.

The Bruins have made the playoffs a handful of times including being one game away from the eastern conference championship.

And then theres the Patriots who have also made it to the playoffs almost every year this past decade including being oh so close to another super bowl trip in that 2006-2007 season.  Sure that superbowl loss to the giants was one of the most crushing things this city has ever endured...but before that loss, they went 18-0...like thats unheard of and just so out of this world.

So no...that superbowl loss alone will not do anything...we truly were blessed this past decade...there are plenty of cities who don't even get to experience the thrill of the playoffs let alone a championship

No way we lose to the Knicks in round 1...call me a homer, but I fully expect this team to start firing on all cylinders once these playoffs start.

Boston with Shaq is a championship contender...let's just hope the big fella has a little bit more to give us.
