...this team has a better chance of losing in the first round than they do of going to th finals (much less winning it).

Does anyone disagree?

I'm still confident for the playoffs, especially with Shaq back, but I'm disgusted by the way we basically just surrendered the #2 seed today. Now there is no point in playing our key guys, let's rest the starters till the playoffs.

A C's team that is toast. Only KG and PP have any energy and desire and thats it. This team is done. I will be surprised if they make it out of first round. I love this team don't get my wrong but the reality is they are done. see ya in a few years after some rebuilding. Everything you know that is wrong about this team is true.

Did you guys even watch the game today vs the Heat?

They were TRYING to win, and they COULDN'T, outplayed and outhustled in everything.

Bibby and Chalmers outplayed Rondo, Howard killed BBD, pathetic.

I don't see how we can have any confidence for the playoffs anymore.

  • Rondo = Good

Yep.

They'll make it out of the first round on pride and talent alone.  After that, sheesh.  They could have had home court advantage through the first 2 rounds and possibly in the Finals against the Lakers, but Thursday and this afternoon they showed us their true colors.

Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

we have no business being in the playoffs, this is it.. this team was capable of winning just one championship and reaching a final game 7 last year..that's it.. the championship was great..but this summer Ainge should take his own advice about not keeping the big 3 for too ling, like he said to Red about the original big 3.

Blow this team up, let's get into the lottery in 2012 and get our pick real high, and we have the clippers pick, get value in return for KG and Ray, Try to trade Rondo this summer.

So true.  It's time for us to be honest about this sad situation.

It all changed Feb 24th with the trade, but it was coming.

Time to blow it up starting with Doc Rivers who insists on playing a struggling Ray Allen and Pig Baby, while starters from other teams squander on the bench.

Would you calm down? You think the lakers are saying this after having dropped their last 5?  Have some faith, the C's are saving for the playoffs.  I hope you remember how foolish you were for posting this after we clinch 18.

I'm not ready to give up yet, but we sure didn't look like contenders against either Chicago or Miami.

People keep pointing to last year, which is fair.  However, even last year we managed to pull out of our slide to beat the Cavs late in the season.  This year, we just didn't show up against our two biggest Eastern rivals.

I don't see how Celtics are going to get out of this. Most miserable performance I have ever seen in a long time.

Welcome to the Blog, Shad0wman.

As frustrated as I am with Rondo today, I still don't believe he and Boston are done this year.

Now if they are doing this a week from now?

I borrowed your TOAST image and posted it to my Facebook.  In advance of all my Laker fans harassing me, I needed to publicly concede that this team is done.

We will not generate different results doing the same thing over and over again with struggling starters.
